Day 3

Ghostly Mostly

A walking tour about the ghosts of New Orleans sent shivers of well, boredom, down reporter Kimberly Moore’s spine. Photographer Dylan Walker joined Kim for what turned out to be a very long walk.

Voodoo Exposed

That’s right, there really are voodoo practitioners in the Big Easy. Nicholas Nutting and Chandler Reed met one man who talks about his history with voodoo, which is often associated with New Orleans culture and lore. Warning–this one is a little slithery.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

Jodie Putman and Sarah Thomas visited the historic “Napoleon House” restaurant and pub in the French Quarter. Even though it is over 200 years old, it has no trouble keeping up with the times, and keeping its customers happy.

SAY WHAT?!

"Dream Team in the back...go wait under the bus." Mariah Volz said while posing for the group picture.

"Hey, I'm a suburban dad," Chandler Reed said while dancing in the restaurant.

"This is what I get for talking," said Jessica Larson as we learn we are at a karaoke restaurant just for Jess and the other HTV songbirds who had mentioned they wanted to go to just such a place during the trip.
